Sanchez Setback
Now that I've spent way more time than I anticipated ranking songs that will play for all of 20 seconds, let me at least spend a moment on the big Mets news of the day from a baseball perspective.
Duaner Sanchez' first bullpen session didn't go well. 11 pitches and a pop. It appears to be some scar tissue that broke free, which doesn't seem to be a major issue.
But it can't be ignored that this has been a terrible spring for Sanchez and he still seems miles away from being able to be that shutdown late-game reliever that he was a year ago.
Forget Shawn Green's batting woes. Forget El Duque's fragile body. The spring struggles of Duaner Sanchez has easily been the most troubling storyline for the Mets in 2007.
